Dear Friends,
Carol has kindly asked me to write a few words by way of introduction to the
website that she has created as a result of our Cuban adventure. It is
always good to reflect on shared experiences a bit removed from the initial
reactions to see people and events in the real perspective.
I am sure that all of you feel to a large extent, even at this late stage,
what Sarah and I felt, that this was one of the nicest holidays that we have
had in a long time and that too in the company of such nice people. The
question now, is how we can perpetuate this camaraderie at least in spirit
so that we can share with each other future life experiences, profound or
mundane.
Most important of all, by visiting this website, it would be a good idea
for us to keep each other aware of news of mutual friends we have made in
Cuba and the progress if any, that anyone has made in terms of sending any
Medical equipment to our Cardiology friends that we met while over there.
Let me close with one wish: Can you picture all of us having a reunion in 10
years time in Habana? May be, it will come true.
